Join us for a comprehensive, 2 Day, hands-on Introduction to Advanced Long Range Shooting class. This course is designed for shooters with experience who want to learn the fundamentals of long-range shooting. You’ll be guided through the essential skills needed for better engagement and understanding of proper rifle handling/manipulation, range estimation, target engagement, and advanced shooting techniques.

Advanced Precision Long-Range Marksmanship Course

Master the Skills Required to Confidently Engage Targets from 100 to 1,300+ Yards

This advanced course is designed for shooters who are ready to elevate their long-range capabilities through a comprehensive blend of technical instruction, hands-on application, and real-world field exercises. Students will gain a deep understanding of the equipment, environmental factors, and shooting methodologies that define true long-range precision.

Course Overview

You will receive detailed instruction in both static and dynamic shooting environments, focusing on the full spectrum of long-range marksmanship fundamentals. Through guided drills and scenario-based engagements, shooters will build the confidence and skillset required to perform at distance with consistency and accuracy.

Key Training Components

• Equipment Familiarization & Optimization
You will learn to properly configure and maximize the performance of their rifle, optics, bipods, bags, and support gear. Instruction includes scope setup, reticle utilization, ballistic software integration, and advanced rifle fitting to ensure stability and repeatability across all shooting positions.

• Kestrel & Ballistics Mastery
Advanced training on Kestrel weather meters and ballistic solvers will teach shooters how to collect, interpret, and apply real-time atmospheric data. Students will learn to create accurate ballistic solutions, manage density altitude shifts, and understand how environmental variables directly influence bullet flight.

• Shooting Positions: Static & Dynamic
From traditional prone to field-expedient and unstable platforms, students will refine their ability to build fast, reliable shooting positions in any environment. Emphasis is placed on body mechanics, natural point of aim, recoil management, and positional efficiency under time constraints. These positions will be natural and man made barricades.

• Target Engagements: 100–1,300+ Yards
You will apply their skills through progressive distance engagements. Starting with zero confirmation and close-range fundamentals, shooters will advance to mid-range and long-range steel targets, ultimately reaching out to and beyond 1,300 yards with instructor-guided support.

• Advanced Wind Reading & Terrain Analysis
One of the most critical and challenging aspects of long-range shooting, wind interpretation is taught through practical field exercises and optical observation. Students will learn how to:
– Identify wind value and direction shifts
– Read terrain features and environmental indicators
– Apply corrections across multiple wind zones
– Predict and compensate for mirage, elevation changes, and complex terrain impacts
